Credit for SAGE Programs
- Students have their classes pre-approved by their faculty adviser(s) and or the Registrar as part of the application process. This assures that classes can count towards graduation requirements as expected.
- Resident credit is awarded, meaning that all grades are factored into the student's cumulative GPA. Students may request to take up to one class per semester on a Credit/No Credit (Cr/NC) basis which has no impact on the GPA. Graded coursework in required to fulfill major, minor or general education requirements so classes taken on an Credit/No Credit basis fulfill graduation electives if appropriate in a liberal arts curriculum.
- The course title and grade are posted on the Scripps transcript once the official program transcript is received. It can take one to three months to receive a transcript from study abroad programs and one or two may take longer. Students should consult the program sponsor to determine when they can expect the transcript to be processed.
