The SAGE application process operates on the following cycles. 

For Spring Programs
The Application Cycle opens on February 15
Petition Deadline: April 1
Application Deadline: May 1 (no extensions!)

For Fall Programs 
The Application cycle opens on September 15 
Petition Deadline: November 1
Application Deadline - December 1

NOTE: Between cycles, the program information page will display "This program is currently not accepting applications"  This applies to the SAGE application for Scripps students and you will need to wait for the next application cycle. You should plan to apply after the application opening date..

After attending a info session and meeting with Neva or Tressi, you will research your various options. Once you have chosen a program, you can request the SAGE Application by clicking on the green "How to Apply" tab on the SAGE website and then following instructions there.

Students apply to one program through the SAGE software but changes can be made in some cases. You will be advised on when best to apply to the program provider after submitting your SAGE application. The majority of students do not need a back-up choice if the application requirements are met.  In the rare occasions when a back up might be needed, students will be advised by SAGE.
