In most cases, classes are primarily with students from colleges and universities in the U.S. A large time commitment to the program is expected and due to the time commitment of the courses, students must be intentional about connecting with locals outside of class. Housing is in student flats, usually with other U.S. students on the program. A few programs offer homestays. Commutes of up to 45 minutes between housing and the program center are not unusual.
