Petition Process

All petitions are reviewed by the Committee On Study Abroad (COSA). Petition deadlines are earlier than the regular SAGE Application deadline so be sure to plan accordingly.

Petitions are submitted for the following reasons:

• Participation on a non-approved program
• Participation on a program for a full year
• Participation on two different programs
• Participation as a Senior or Second Semester Sophomore
• Waiver of Scripps Language Pre-Requisite
• GPA is below 9.0 in language classes for any program with a required language
